DIY ITB ITBs 954 Throttle Bodies Custom Velocity Stacks 954RR
Before I went carbureted I was playing around with some 954RR throttles and never finished them. It was interesting as how Toda utilized the same Keihin bodies on their K series throttles when I looked at the page way back when.
These are 954RR throttles modified with custom fabrication (short stubs and custom flanges) that allow the use and interchangeability of easy to find weber IDF velocity stacks. I am sure dcoe stacks would work as well. No need for rigging up the plastic horns, etc. Gives you the ability to tune length as horns come in different sizes.
I removed the bike IACV as I figured I either wouldn't run one or would use the car's iacv. TPS is a factory honda tps that I believe just needs to be reversed (wiring) I removed the factory injectors and squeezed in some old obd1 injectors for test fit purposes. ( I might keep the obd1 injectors). This required longer fuel rail bolts which are supplied, except the one in the middle.
Only thing you need to do is furnish a manifold and also port out the inner area where the fabricator welded the flanges on. The tubes are tack welded as my fabricator said he didn't want to distort the barrel due to heat. Maybe you can go all around if you want. Your choice.
I did leave the throttle adjustment screw device in place.
So why buy an unmodded set when I have done all the troublesome work of finding stacks for you?
