Idle speed drops really low when engaging A/C
The idle speed in my H22A powered 1993 Accord is perfectly set as per the helms manual. Idle speed is set exactly at 750 rpms (with the aid of my Hondalogger software) and everything is fine until i turn on the air conditioner. When doing so, idle speed with dip to around 500 rpm's and seems like it is going to stall. Has anyone had this problem before? I've checked for vaccuum leaks and practically everything else, but nothing. What could be wrong here?
Thanks,
Mark

Nothing's wrong. When the AC is on it provides additional accessory drag on the engine. You're okay, man.
Does the ECU know that you have a/c installed? if the wiring is not correct, then the ECU will not give the car more fuel to compensate for the A/C being turned on. When you turn on the A/C rgw idle should drop when the clutch ingages on the compressor however it should return to normal within about 2 seconds
