Making a 88 dx fast?
Is this possible? i had a 89 si but i wrapped it around a telephone pole. But i just bought an 88 dx with 89,000 miles for a thousand bucks. to my surprise it wasn't as slow as i thought it would be. But is there anything i can do to a dx? i'm not looking to swap motors or anything. just thought it would be cool to have a stock looking dx that was fast. Thanks
I/H/E, maybe some 15" rims(might make your car a big faster), DPFI -> MPFI. (converting the intake system to an Si) build up the suspension for easier cornering. cecking timing, gutting the interior, lighter body parts(carbon fibre)
many more things you can do, how much are you willing to spend to make a DX engine fast??? i have a DX in my car right now too, itll have to do until i can afford a swap.

It can get mighty expensive, so plan it well...I spent over $12000 on my DX hatch...2 sets of motors, 2 sets of sound system and 2 sets of wheels...you can view the car on "pictures of your car" thread...Page 19 or 21, I think...worst thing, its not even done...lol. I dont think, it'll ever be.
