Hey Guys, I Work for Greddy Performance. We need to prototype a new exhaust sytem for the 2008 Accord Coupe V6 Manual Transmission. The car needs to stock, No check engine lights, and Preferably you live in or near Orange County, California. it is now 2:15pm please call ASAP. Only need one car.

Guys, I called up Brian, sounds good but only thing is that i live in nyc and dont have a way to bring the car to Brian (cali) . So anyone looking to get a greddy exhaust give him a call. The only thing they need is the specs for the exhaust and the clearances other wise they will make one up from nothing as a protype, hopefully this will make them create a catback system so I can get one over here in NY.

I think the main problem is that there really aren't that many 6-6 Coupes running around yet, even though it's almost 2009 MY.

If your there can you take a video of it when they test it out and let me know. I got the same 6-6 such a nice video and wanted to get a bolt on kit from greddy.

So I took my car into Greddy for the Exhaust System fitting.Basically what they did was fabricate a prototype exhaust system to get specs on fitting angles clearance etc.. They said it would take about 8 hrs and we could pick it the same day around 5:30. The catch was that you would get your car back stock with your factory exhaust on it At that point they would send out the prototype to the factory in china and from there they would develop the systems that they would make for production, witch would take about 2-3 weeks but since its in china and they ship there products on those huge containers it would take anywhere from 3-6 months to get the exhaust back. So I agreed and was prepared to wait(why not its free).

So when I go to pick up the car Brian calls and says they just received a shipment of a different exhaust system the made for the accord coupe and that they could put that system on and we could take it for free it was the EVO2 system. So when we got there the prototype was on the car and look sick and sounded clean. But being that six months is along time we decided to go with the EVO2 system.

The EVO2 system is available to buy I'am not sure how much but I know the info on the website says its for the 2009 but its a typo and really for the 08.So if your interested in it call Brian D. at Greddy (949)588-8300 he will hook you up.

I'll post a video and pics of the exhaust later.

Which one of the two did you think was nicer. the evo2 or the prototype from Brian? Please post the link of the EVO2 when you get a chance.

Honestly I thought they where both nice and sounded about the same the main difference is that the
prototype had the burnt blue tips and the EVO2 doesn't. We went with the EVO2 cuz we live in OC and dont want any problems with the PoPo (Police)

just put tape over it, it's not like you're going to go for a road trip with cops all around you so you should be fine lol
