Any advice with this......Will d15b2 work in Crx HF with HF ecu?
Will I have to get another ECU for this swap. I am starting my project here in about 10 minutes. Shouldnt take long to do. So, will a HF ECU (8valve) work for a D15B2 (16valve)??
I found a thread earlier that dealt with this but did not really say exactly what the fix was. The person said they changed the ECU, but could it be possible that his ECU for the HF was bad, and that just happened to solve his problem????

it will start the car, but I wouldnt run it since the fuel maps are different.. buy a cheap $5 dx ecu off ebay lol
Thanks, hope your correct.
I just got the engine out. Did it w/o pulling the tranny. I have a dealership manual and it said there are 5 bolts to split the bellhousing. I found out the hard way and broke a piece of the bellhousing. FYI there are 6 bolts, LOL, damn it. The other is hidden under the starter. I am going to pull the tranny then put them back in assembled together.
My input shaft in the tranny is a little loose. No end play, but side to side. Is it supposed to be that way since the clutch, pressure plate, and flywheel will re-align it????
