if it doesnt feel faster than your b16 than it needs to be tuned...have you done a dyno/tune session?

if there not cams for boosted apps than that could be your problem right there..you need it re tuned if its running rich and because you have diff cams

What alternator pulley are you running on your setup? I am running into issues with my 1991 CRX with a OBD0 B16A1 swap. I have the 99-00 Civic SI JRSC. Any info would be greatly appreciated. The JRSC alternator pulley I got is to big. Here is the JRSC alternator part # 051-109.

you need to use a obd2 alternator or get the spacer bushing to install on a obdo or obd1 alt inside the pulley. thats what I have. I got the bushing from jim at motorvations

oh yea...i took the car to the track earlier..the best i could get down was 15 flat...THATS SLOW AS [freak]!! but 1 problem was that i didnt install that lil bracket to hold down the speed cable and the car would stall whenever that **** came loose (and that **** came loose every run)..but its because i have the launch control set at 3.5k..and i couldnt go pass that after the cars rpm dropped under 3.5k rpm....

Get a dyno tune before you blow your **** up, and stop beating on it until then. Otherwise, you might as well start a new thread now, titled "Why does my supercharger make my engine smoke 3 different colors?"

One are those cams for boosted cars?

Two... Running rich can cause problems too!

Three GET IT TUNED BEFORE YOU BLOW IT UP! Id never race a car at the track on a half *** street tune.

and you have the same setup im building for. But im going for much more then 8 psi on that supercharger.

Thanks CRX Jimmy I just called Jim at motorvations and he knew exactly what I needed. Ordered the alternator shaft shim for my hybrid JRSC.

a stock ls swapped in an ef can do about 15 flat, so if your only running 15.0 and your cars supercharged, somethings majorly wrong. a good tune will be your friend

You have major issues with your setup.

GET IT TUNED RIGHT.

You said exactly what i was thinking. Using cams with high lift were designed to run great for N/A, but **** for boosted applications....unless of coarse you got a grind made special for it.

My setup cost less and makes more power. Using a B20Z with P8R head and JR supercharger which runs at 9 lbs. HP and torque for the street are deadly.

tune.. or be like me = boom

your cams ad lift thus needing more fuel especially when supercharged.

i have toda spec'bs in my b16a with ctr piston set up.
i just bought the car and she blew a few days later... seems when they hacked with a vafc2 they changed the v-tec engagement to 3300... calling for more fuel. the engine leaned out due to no maf ( none on any Honda) and melted the ctr's to near nothing.

you need tuning and don't use some friends great idea. at least get comepro, neptune, hondata etc ( if you are like me and are an obd-1 ef )
