whats up guys. Im havein a problem with my car. What it does is, when i stop at a red light or stop to make a turn my engine will idle down of course but when i give it some gas the engine will die. So then i will turn the key all the way back and restart the car again. An the process happens all over again..... Now i have already replaced the fuel filter, so when rule that out...... Anymore ideas of what it might be?

 

it sounds like an electrical problem. my cb7 did the same thing. after researching i finally realized that it was a crank/tdc sensor in the distributor. do the ecu throw any codes

 

No codes what so ever.

 

you drive an ef right? check the carb or distributor. just take it to a shop and see what they say and let me know

with my EF when i use to hit the brakes all my dashboard lights would come on and my engine would die....or if i threw it in reverse the same thing would happen....it turned out to be a loose ground in between my tailights...maybe check that? idk just some food for thought
