just as the topic says i need to know if there is any way to tell the diffrence between a b18b1 and a b18a1 head

 

i dont remember if it says how to tell the difference besides the valve covers but read threw that.

ok i have two heads one i know is a b18b1 but i do not know if the other one i had got is a a1 or a b1 and i want to know if there is any stamp or something that would tell me cause it has no valve cover or block attached

 

there should be a stamp the says the year and doesn't the b1 start 94 ?

 

yes the b1 starts 1994 i have a 94 teg wit the b1 do you know where the year stamp is

 

front of head on the left side usually in a small circle and will say 93 or 94 or whatever the yr is/
