I'm looking to purchase a cam gear. Need some advice.
I'm looking to pick up a dc sports tru time cam gear for my sohc motor...
Its a stock 1997 Civic Coupe Ex (don't remember engine code)
5 speed.
How will this cam gear improve my motor and is it worth buying that?
I've been searching...Just looking for a little info here too...

it wont really do anything considering its a stock motor and you shouldnt advance or retard it in anyway...that really should be one of the last things you buy

You might pick up a few horses if you dyno it but your never be able to tell just by driving. Its usually best once you get a few mods than put the cam gear on, dyno it and set everything where it works best while keeping detonation under control.
