Default 88rotor's brake package for s2000

need your thoughts and opinions s2k hondatech heads.

my brakes are just about due to be changed. i am thinking of upgrading to slotted rotors, and came across this deal at 88 rotors.

package is $179.99, which includes.
- 2 front 88ROTORS cross-drilled/slotted rotors
- 2 rear 88ROTORS cross-drilled/slotted rotors
- 1 set front PBR XBG semi-metallic brake pads
- 1 set rear PBR XBG semi-metallic brake pads

has anyone on here used the 88rotor brake package for s2k? the price seems really really reasonable especially for frnt AND rear rotors drilled and slotted.

id like to hear your opinions/input/advice. (thanks in advance)

heres a link for reference.

that is a very good price

no experience w/ them, and have never personally had issues w/ crossdrilled rotors, although alot of people "claim" they crack

it all depends on what kind of driving you're going to be doing

I've bought brakes and chassis bars from them for my DC. Great people to deal with.

they do, the have whatever you need, you can get the blanks too. drilled, sloted, dimple all look silly and useless if you ask me(at least for oem size, casted then drilled/machined disk)

if you are going with the axxis/pdr go with ulitmate instead of that.

i gotten about 4-5 sets of brake from them before, no problem here

i've gotten that brake package from 88 rotors twice, they're chinese rotors, thats why there soo cheap, but with daily driving and the occasional canyon run there the best bang for buck, and they are a legit company...go for it

the axxis ultimates dust so much that your MF10's would turn gunmetal in one high speed stop. stick with the metalmasters or XBG...

metalmaster sucks when it's cold, their dust stain your wheel too, i had them before on my other car and i hated it.

if you don't want dust then get oem, i don't really care for dust or noise when i shop for brake

The rotors are just cheap Chinese replacements. Slotted and or drilled is a huge wast of $$ and braking force if you are not going to use them on the track. Those holes and or slots = less surface area for the pad. The drilled ones are notorious for cracking, esp these cheep ones. The slotted rotors will give you more dust and also create a much louder braking noise. Not to mention shorter pad life. Do yourself a favor and just pick up some rotors from autozone with a lifetime warranty and some good HP pads of your choice.

I found a REALLY GOOD deal on some 2 piece project Mu rotors on another forum. I will pm you a link

not a big fan of the cross drilled. I have head the cross drilled and slotted on my old teg for about a year and I was fairly happy with them untill i was doing my second brakepad change and saw hairline crack coming from the cross drilled wholes. Whe it comes time for me to do my brakes im going with blank rotors axxis ultimate pad ss brakelines and better breakfluid

I was just looking at this company over the weekend on ebay, their feedback doesn't seem to be that bad at all.

I need to do my brakes also so I might also get this deal just with blanks instead of the slotted.drilled set up

Ive had those exact same rotors and pads on my car for almost a year. Ive beat the hell out of them and they work like the day I got them. The company is from cali, not china

Yeah the company may be based out of Cali, but I'd bet top dollar the rotors themselves are produced in china.
