My a/c works perfectly fine at idle but when i start driving it turns on and off constantly. i can feel the compressor turn on and off because my car slows down everytime it turns on. I was wondering if the aluminum radiator that I have is causing this problem. Because my freeon level is good.

yea i dont touch any of the climate controls. Do you think that the aluminum radiatior has anything to do with this or should I go with oem.
i highly doubt the rad has anything to do with it....i mean anythings possible but i wouldnt think it would make your ac turn on and off randomly...any CELS?

Im sorry but I am new to this. What does CELS mean? Its weird because my condensor fan kicks on, my relays and freeon are good, but the a/c clutch is the one that enganges and disengages very frequently.

Nah it doesnt have any check engine light. Is there any way I can tell if the compressor is bad? Or do I have to take it to a shop for them to take a look at it? And by curiosity how much would that be to check the a/c?

i believe you can take it out and connect it right to the battery and see if it stays on...autozone is the only place i know of that usually wont charge you to test it but thats only from what ive seen on their commercials lol

I figured what the problem was. The a/c had too much freeon. Just a little bit of advice for people with a/c problems: NEVER CHECK THE FREEON LEVEL WITH THE GAUGE THAT COMES THE FREEON CAUS IT DOES NOT READ RIGHT. When I checked it with that gauge it said it was fine but when my mechanic put his gauges on it it was way over. Anyways thanks for your help.
