JDM D15 into USDM D15 swaps

So, i was wondering we are putting a vtec head on my bro's D15B2. I remember seeing that the JDM D15B had a wild vtec camshaft. Will the Camshaft fit into the USDM D15s? or should we just run a D16A6 cam.

you can put a sohc vtec head on the d15b2 bottom end, but you cannot put a vtec cam into a non-vtec head. Yes a A6 cam will fit into your non-vtec head.

well then you cant use the a6 cam...

The D15B VTEC does not have "wild VTEC". It's pretty much a destroked D16Z6.

u prob wont see much for a difference either way.

Whatever came with the engine; otherwise I'd just get a regrind or aftermarket cam.
