Hi am not very knowlegable about cars so please forgive me. I have an 2001 Integra LS and it failed emissions. Throwing catalyst throwing failure or something like that. And the ECU code it threw at me was 67. Now i need a new catalytic converter is all 94-01 integra the same for this converter? or its different from 94-97 or gsr to ls or RS..etc.
Your help would be appreciated.
Thanks

I believe you can only use a 2000-01 Integra LS/RS catalytic converter... from my understanding, the lengths are different in comparison to the 94-99

You can make the dealer replace it for you.
If you have less than 80k miles, its covered under the (legally required) 8 year/80k mile warranty.
While I disagree with these type of laws, I did have no issues getting a dealership to replace both front seatbelts (and motors and rails) in my 91 Integra when they stopped working last year (yeah, 17 year old car). Got a $1200 bill with "paid, warranty" stamped on it, and paid nothing. Safety devices are covered for life, smog equipment for 8/80.

doesn't the safety warranty apply to the original owner?

I believe it applies to the car in general, so it doesn't matter who the owner is at the time.
