Default A Video for ya'all

Hi all. A member of our group (www.allmotorgroup.com) bought a 95 BTCC accord from the UK. Photos can be found in the members section. Heres the link:

Yes that is a 14.1. Poor launch. Still getting car sorted. Enjoy.

what do vtec killer cams do?
They eliminate the VTEC function. You know the triple lobes on VTEC cams? These only have two. No change over, it removes the entire VTEC system. They are straight racing camshafts, like conventional cams, idle very lopy, get horrible gas milage, and are very expensive.

Take a look at the B-series vtec killer cams: http://www.todaracing.com/B162.html

Notice, in red, how they say "Makes power from 5000rpm+!" and "Race use only!"
They mean it. To get these cams to make power, you need a $1500 custom Hytech header, a custom $500 straight exhaust, $2500 custom individual throttle bodies, $2000 billet titanium connecting rods, $800 forged aluminum ultra-light weight pistons, ~$2000 custom headwork.......only for race cars.

If you tried them on your otherwise stock RSX Type S, it would only be a soggy, unresponsive piece of crap until the pistons hit the valves.

But that's why TODA makes their awesome billet VTEC camshafts, which allow better low end torque and mid-range, along with the killer top end.

i wonder how much they will cost now due to the fact the cam sprokets will be connected to the cams....and will the cam gears be able to be adjustable due to the timing chain ???

Any straight (non-vtc, vvl, whatever) cam timing system can be adjusted, it's just the hub of the pulley that you loosen, re-align to advance or retard, and tighten it back in position again.

And TODA will be offering adjustable timing gears for them as well: http://www.todaracing.com/dc5.html

I am pretty sure the cams aren't permanently connected to the cam gears, the page says just VTC killers, eliminating the advance/retard computer control. It doesn't say that the pulleys can only be used with killers.

Well I cant wait till TODA releases thier DC5 product line up. Its for sure they are going to release them in dec. As for getting te Vtec killers, I will pass on that and go with the cams. I did some more research and found that I will get the gas milage of a v-8. uumm no thank you. I drive alot and thats made money. Hehehe
