Default My '92 Civic "Project Champion" Build Thread!! Paint update!

Whats up everyone, here is my work in progress 1992 Honda Civic Four Door B16a SiRII build thread

Here is how she sits on 8/3/08. Scroll down to see how she got here!!!!


















The swap is complete, and she started right up!







And here is how she sits today...

















Mods:
B16a 92-95 B16a SiRII Swap ( Bought from Hmotorsonline.com! )
Stage 1 Exedy Clutch
DC 4-1 Header
Intake/Vibrant Filter
Full 2 1/4" exhaust
Skunk2 Lower Control Arms

Dyno'd at 146whp and 101 lbs torque

Future plans:

As of yesterday ( July 27, 2008 ) we started the body work. Started sanding her down and prepping her for paint. Going with Championship White ( Type R ) for the color. Hence the project name!! Stayed tuned for more pictures soon of progress on the body!!!

Skunk2 Main and body
Hasport Motor Mounts
Stage 2 Skunk2 Cams
Supertech Valve springs
Supertech Retainers

Bottom end, not so sure yet. Won't start building the head for a while now. Any ideas and suggestions, feel free to share them. I will continue updating this regularly as things change.

here is a MAJOR update

first, we'll start will BEFORE pictures. this shows the **** wrong with this car before we did anything













<FONT SIZE="18">Replacing the current damaged fender with a newer OEM one. Sanded down and primed</FONT>









<FONT SIZE="18">We also had to replace the passenger side front and rear door. Later to find out after we pulled the old doors off, there was at LEAST 3 inches or more of bondo on them. A nice dent in the rear and along the front pass. door. I couldn't believe it. A few holes in the door from were they attempted to pull it out it seems. Glad i replaced them!!!</FONT> :thumbsup:

Looks pretty good so far, but I'm a little curious as to why you'd go through all the trouble to take the doors off but you'd leave little things like the tail lights on?

staged pictures to come tomorrow!!! a little more work needs to be done to get it to where i want it to be, but so far, looks good IMO
