hi i am looking at a 1995 del sol and the guy want 900$ for it. The problem is that it doesnt run right until it hits 4000 rpm. It seem to dog out til 4000. Do you think i should get it. it has the 1.5 in it and it has a perfect body u think i could fix it cheap and is worth it?

 

if you've got the "know how" to fix it then fix it, if you've got the money to swap to fix it then do it

if you can get the car and get it running with less than 2k do it. 2grand for a delsol isn't a bad deal at all.

otherwise what's the point in buying a car that doesn't run properly?

 

i will make it very clear... if is a del sol with that kind of motor acting like that. i will pay $ 700 .. and if i got the money i will put a d16z6 engine with a s20 tranny on it .... of course i'm talking about a manual tranny not a auto tranny.. cuz if is an auto .. do not even try to buy it..

but i got years with my del sol.. i bought it for $ 1000 bucks.. and has a d16z6 and s20 manual tranny with 143000 miles on it and it rocks!!!!! also my already had coilovers and lower tied bar,,, pick your choice!!
