1993 Accord start-up issue
Okay, i got a strange one for you guys. A friend of mine has a 1993 Accord. Saturday he went out to start his car, and no go. Cranks and cranks, but no good. checked everything, and still did not start. Pulled the dip stick out to check oil, oil was good. Tried to start car again, and it fires right up. Sunday, he goes out, car won't start again, pulls the dip stick out 6-8 inches and put it back in, and it fires right up. This one has stumped me. Anyone have any ideas???
does it happen when parked in the hot sun ? if yes, then its the main relay that needs to be changed.
I have same problem and living with it ecause labor is too much to change main relay.

^^^^ Dude, take off your main relay and fix it yourself Look in the accord FAQ there's a walkthrough on fixing it yourself. Don't live with it. It's embarassing.
the fix is very easy......just resolder the contacts on the main relay and ur good to go!
I don't recommend DIY if you have no soldering skill!
