Default Hey guys... Just got my s2k...

Hey all. So, while shopping for a K20A2 swapped EG, I figured hell, why not pay the same price and get something a hell of a lot newer with less risks... I went to my local Koons of Manassas Honda dealer, checked out a 2000 Honda S2000 with 45k miles on it, slapped down $1,000, and was ready to eat the $312.80 car payments for the next 60 months.. My next question is, what is a good site to order aftermarket parts for my car... I want to be able to go onto a single site, get my carbon fiber hood/trunk/lip, rims, and everything... Any suggestions???

Indeed, I am sooo fing amazed at how good the stock exhaust system sounds! This is byfar the best car for the buck.. If I wasnt 21/had to have my grandparents co-sign for me/was stabe/had credit, I soo wouldve got a brand new one.. I am soo pleased with this car.. The 50/50 weight distribution is A++, I love my silver car with the red interior, and the digital gauges!

from experience DON'T buy mods yet... enjoy and learn the car first.

Hell you should put the 3K your about to spend on cosmetic mods towards your principle and lower you payments if possible.

Every $1,000 I put down lowered my car payment by a mere $12.00.. So IMO, it wasnt really worth it =\ I would rather have the 5k to throw into the car.. I need some Bride seats, takata harnesses, cusco 7 pt cage, hard top, some volks/tired, cf hood/trunk/lips... Then Ill call it done ;p

Ya, ***$nyper, I was browsing late night after my g/f fell asleep last night @ I did happen to come across the ARC intake box, it looked really nice, I am kinda over those long aftermarket intakes, the box will def. be the way I go, and ARC makes a great product from what I hear... Who makes a decent header/full exhaust package for the s2k? @ Js I was looking @ the Spoon headers.. What cha think?

I lol'd at the replies.

If I didn't know better.... some of the replies leaned more towards sarcasm when it came to the mods lol

I think every 1K should lower your payment by approx 22+ dollars....... but hey do what you want...

Have you looked into PIC coilovers? They are supposed to be very good and very well priced.

Try using the search feature on this site. Plan out what you want to do with the car (IE: race, show, daily) and look for the supporting mods at that time. Don't just go spending $$ on things because you can. If you still have questions at that time feel free to create a new thread, this one has gotten out of hand. PM me if you have any other questions.
