For a powertrain with moderate power output (say no more than 275whp), I'd vote for an ACT HD-SS.

I can a definite no to the Clutchmasters FX300. The friction material is too soft and doesn't seem to have a lot of friction/grab. The pressure plate strength is also pretty weak, which also makes for a pretty soft pedal.

I'd also say no to an ACT XT-R6 (6 puck, unsprung). It chatters a lot and grabs low and quick. It's not real street friendly. It grabs like hell for a single plate clutch tho.

All of the above clutches go for around $400, but the Clutchmasters is about $25 to $50 more ($450).
