If this was a year or 2 ago I would have said the H22 because of the cost of swapping a K20 into a EF. Now a days, it's cost roughly the same the swap a H22 as it does to swap a K20, and that K20 will beat the pants off a H22 any day.

i just went through this problem myself and the decision cam to h22a or h2b i went h22a the k20 ended up for it in the car doing it myself down to everything to swap it around 9k the h22 was alot cheaper around 4k with plenty or add on parts! and with the extra 5ksaved imagine what you would be able to do to that h22! So if money is a problem i would set your sights on an h22 if that is not the problem go k20.

It really depends on what YOUR plans are, and how much money you're willing to put into the swap.
