I want to put the rear bumper off a 2000 Si on my 98 civic Ex coupe. Would I have to change the trunk too?

 

No, they fit the same. All '96-'00 coupe and sedan rear bumpers are interchangeable, though the '99-'00 coupe and sedan rear bumpers have a slight "lip" along the bottom of the bumper.

Btw, the '96-'00 Civic coupe trunks are all the same. The sedan trunks will not fit on coupes though.
