ok soo i just bought a 1996 prelude and its in mint conditon basically brand new condition but the only problem is that the person b4 me must of put the H23 engine in it and messed up some of the wiring and now it dont start... i was just wondering if there is anyone out there that can help me figure out the problem....i bought it for 800 dollars and i figured it had alot of potential seeing it being a honda... but anyway if you can help meout that would be great...thanks again....

 

More details man....what does it do? You need to check for the basics: fuel, spark, compression, and timing.

 

well i know all thats good its the electrical the kid messed with the wiring on the engine and must of forgot where something goes and just said [freak] it...n i bought the car cause im determined to fix it.... idk w.e. unless he dropped the h23 and tried to use the h22 wire harness but idk.... whats it sounlike 2 u man

It sounds like nothing...I can't even see the car (much less hear it) and I can barely understand what you are trying to say.

 

How do he be know all that be good? He muss be see through the timbelt covr and see it bee OK. And he is bee see the sparx out da dizzy boyeee!!!!!! jmoney boyeeee he da man!!!!


Seriously I doubt any of your suggestions have been looked at Hawkze. And the 96 is OBD2, did any of those even come with H23? I thought they were either F22 or H22 for that year.
