Default Wiring Troubles

I've been looking and looking for a really good explanation of which wires to add and where they come from and I'm at a loss. I thought I had it all figured out, but I've recently gotten pretty confused.

Background: I'm swapping a fully built B18C1 (OBD1) into a '95 Civic DX. I've looked over the how to on http://www.c-speedracing.com and http://www.hybridgarage.com trying to get everything figured out, but I'm having a tough time.

I have run my VTEC and VTEC oil wires into the ECU harness, but now I don't know where to find the knock sensor, IAB, and Evap Purge Solenoid wires. I'm pretty sure that I've located the knock sensor wire coming from the following image: Click Here

It's a red wire with a blue stripe and runs to the lower left pin on the 10 pin connector (seen here: http://www.c-speedracing.com/howto/b...s/dsc00050.jpg )

Where do I find the other wires?? HELP!

Thanks guys.

Assuming that your wiring harness is complete and uncut (from a gsr), it should have the red/blue wire for the knock sensor. That goes to D3 on the ecu side. For the IAB, all you need to do is to transfer the A20 pin to A17…and done! For the evap, you’ll need a wire coming from A20 straight to the red wire on the engine harness...goodluck

Ok, but which "red" wire on the engine harness? If you tell me where the evap solenoid is on the motor, I can do a continuity check and figure out exactly which red wire it is.. have any pics you can show me of the solenoid??? Thanks a lot for your help man!!!!

evap purge sol. on the gsr is on top of the intake manifold...held by one small bolt, (i think)...it's black w/ a hose going to a canister..i dont have access to my pics right now (im at work) but if you post a pic i can verify it for you. check the 4th harness plug as well on the passenger side gsr harness. there should be 2 wires in it (red and yellow/black) red is for evap.

Is it the black thing on the top of the intake there with the hose coming off of it?

Ok, what's really weird is that I traced the red/yellow wire from there to the plug that goes into the sensor on the transmission. Is that where it's supposed to be?

The white sensor with 2 prongs on it that sits just to the left of the one we're talking about now has a red/yellow wire on it too that traces back to where I added all my other wires. That couldn't be the right one could it?

The motor is a '97 BTW.

Yes, OBD1. I swapped out my distributor and my ECU is OBD1. There really is no other plug like that one for me to get it on wrong... Why would any of the sensors be connected to the plug that goes to the transmission sensor?

It's pretty weird to me...
