Whats the difference in height? I was looking at my car and wondering just how small the damn full race radiator is exactly. Does anyone know the height measurements of a stock EG and a full race one.

 

i believe their pretty close to each other if not the same ...this is a full race(depending on the make but in the general area)

I was told by full race their radiator was made for race (ie drag racing) only and would not be acceptable for street driving. I bought the fludyne (sp) ef “half” radiator, turned out to just be a eg unit was too tall and I had to make custom mounts to get it to fit. So as far as I know there is no direct replacement “half” radiator, at least not a couple years ago. I would hope someone would have remedied this by now. I do remember hearing that some Neon radiator would fit, but I never looked into it.

 

See I heard that the Full Race radiator was shorter thus eliminating the need to gangster leand your radiator if your running their traction bar. But when I started looking at my car a little closer I realized the radiator is gonna have to be super short in order to clear the hood. The eg one sits about 3-5 inches too tall

 

i ran the full-race radiator with no problems (on the street in traffic), and it was short enough to not need to gangsta lean it

 

Anyone know how tall a stock radiator is?
