Default help gas leak

Hi, I have a 91 Accord. It's got a gas leak and i'm wondering what kind of steps should I take to figure out where it's coming from? The cabin smells like gas quite strongly, but I haven't been able to find a leak. I dunno if it's a ruptured fuel line, or gas tank has a hole in it?

Any info would help greatly. Trying to fix it up for my girlfriend's first car.

I would look jack up the car & look underneath it. I would look @ the main line from the gas tank to the engine bay. Most likely it has damage on it, or very rarely it could be a gas tank leak

well started the car up and got it into the garage (been sitting for awhile. cleaned it up and then when I backed it out to drive it up on the ramps, there were two huge puddles of raw gas on the floor.

so decided to wait on doing any work to it and just get it towed to a mechanic to fix the leak.
