i just swaped an lx for an ex engine with the ecu. does anyone know what else i was suppose to swap out to have this configuration. i am having a problem with the timing but when we had the engine in the ex body it ran fine. we didnt touch the distributor or the belt at all the timing was fine. now it sounds way off and back firing. please help very soon guys

 

Have you checked the timming @ all on the car?

ok here is my issue when i swapped my lx engine for an ex i did the full swap. tranny, engine, ecu and harness that belonged to the ex engine. first question is this... 1) is there anything else that needed to be swapped? 2) was there any wires that needed to be added for the swap to work correctly? 3 ) if there were any wires that needed to be added or moved around which ones and would that cause my vtec to not kick in? please this is urgent i am having issues badly and i keep getting kinda the same answers that really dont apply at this point anymore. i would appreciate all the help I can get guys thanks.
