Quck a6 Intake Manifold Question...

Im thinking about putting my z6 intake manifold on my y7 in my 91 Si... but i was just wondering what the sensor is for right next to the spot where you hook up the brake booster line...

On the bottom pic I believe that is where the purge control solenoid for the EVAP can is located.

The top pic ???

Fast Idle Control Valve only on 89-91 D16A6 - boosts idle slightly when outside air temperature is below -10C (14F)

so how would the car run without it? im putting a z6 intake manifold on for now and soon ill be swapping a whole z6 in with the p28 anyways...
