94 Accord: Freon leaking from a/c low side port cap
My girlfriend has been complaining her a/c wasnt working that great and it really does not. It is only cold when it is like 75 outside. It never gets cold when it 90 outside.
So the other day I hooked up a gauge and bottle to the low side port and it read ok between 25-40 so I disconnected the bottle from the low port and the system started leaking out of the low side port where I had connected the bottle. Now all the freon has leaked out of the system and now all it blows is hot air.
How do I go about fixing this? Id like to get this fixed ASAP as it is in the 90s here and she has to wear pants to work and all she does is complain how she is sweating to death.

Is this what I need? It is called a Factory air cap and valve a/c system seal (#26783) from Advance auto parts?
