hey guys, I just got a leather shift **** for my 5sp and I was wondering how the heck do I remove the old one? Such a noob question...I know...but when I turn it counterclockwise it stops after about 1/8 of a turn...doesnt pop off...nor will it budge...Thanks to all that respond!

 

oh boy..haha jk...anyways...pull the shift boot down...it is connected with some clips..after that unscrew the **** and your set..just reverse the process when completed.
