had same problem it's also called the main relay 5 mins to solder or you can just grab another one from a junkyard for under $5

Have you figure out if it was the main relay problem? Having the same problem where the fuel pump wouldn't prime in the day/warm, but would start up no problem at night/cold.

That means the solder is starting to crack. You either need to open it up and re-solder the connections, or get a new one.

Correct. You don't even have to get a brand new one, just hit up a junkyard and get a few old ones and see what works.

Alright, I'll give that a try. The wires and the fuel pump should be still good, right?

Yeah, it's just the stupid little relay that dies.

Or, you can get a soldering kit for $7 from Radioshack and just resolder all of the contacts. It took me about 10 minutes; the hardest part is actually putting the relay back into the car. I have really big hands so I had trouble getting the 10mm bolt started, so I got my girl to do it for me.

Just to make sure. This is the correct relay, right?
