just unhook it all together for now then loop them later. i have had mine unhooked from the rack for the passed 6 months with no problems, just never got around to looping them.
off topic but my ps pump just exploded and not having ps is about the worst thing ever. i feel like a dork CRANKING the wheel on my civic, and i can't imagine it's at all good for the car. these cars arent built with big thick parts....i know that people do it all the time, but i cant wait to have mine back. my poor tires.

i did it because it needed to be removed for my turbo setup. you get used to it. I weigh only 115lbs and its like second nature to me. my friend who is 250 has trouble with it lol, only cuz hes not used to it of course.

Im just doing it to clean up the engine bay. I went to HIN the other night and fell in love with some clean *** engine bay's. Plus now driving without it feels alot better. its just hard from a dead stop but once you start moving it loosens up. I still wanna do the "looped" hoses. I know its been done on a teggy before, common guys i need yo help. I did my search but all i could find being done too are preludes and their pictures look nothing like what i got. HELp

The seller is Padawan, I bought two sets from him for my brother and I. Its not necessarily a need to get the kit but it looks a lot cleaner when you do, it looks like an extra clutch master cylinder on the wall. I would just d/c all the ps equipment because by looping it you wont feel that much of a difference anyways because Ive use both ways already. The first picture is the lines that lead to the ps cooler so you can take that off.......<---Ive always wonder if you can use that a an oil cooler???hahaha.....have fun without ps cause it will make you feel more control over the car....
i just took the pump off and let the line that connects to the pump sit there ill loop it sooner or later i heard its ok to leave the line there i have it plugged so no dirt or rocks will get in the line
Just put that line in a bottle for now, you'll need to follow those two lines to the rack and pinion and cut them there, pry them back open after they are cut (they will crimp) and just loop them with a autozone 3/8ths hose. It's been a while since I've done it on a dc so i can't give you more details really. but just follow the two lines and loop them.
If you don't feel confident doing this, put it back together and take it to a real mechanic.

really easy. take the line all the way off the car and cut it with a hacksaw or sawzall..This is very easy to do. just loop the line and your done. what was so hard about this i figured it out in like two point five seconds. you can put a T in it and run it to one of those ricer breather things they put on the valve covers. it makes it steer a little easier and you can take the filter off and fill it up.

i know wat to do. but i cant take the whole line off the car. do i just pull it?? im trying to do it with it on the car and its kind off difficult to cut that line.
omg you guys are retarded.
not closing the loop will wreck your power steering rack and you'll be friggin' hosed when that happens. You can drive that way for a few days, tops. but by that point your fluid will be dirty. It's like running your motor with the oil fillter cap open, but worse.
Put the pump back on until you get a ps removal kit unless you're okay with permanently modifying your lines and don't plan on selling the car, ever.
padawan sells a kit, and so does another company. i forget their name.. spectra? spectrum?
