ok so i bought a 1990 civic hatch with about 270xxx km<s on it for $700 and had plans to just fix it and drive it ,but thats boreing ,so ima do my thing and have some fun .
here we go
add pic

the swap ridin shot gun

look at my **** all dirty and runnin wild ......

rear disc swap

pulled the seats and carpet

cut out

DA seats

started cleaning the engine ,leaky cam seal ftl
and maybe vavle cover gasket

still gross though
sand balsting cabinet i started to blast all the suspension and whatnot

http://s65.photobucket.com/alb...5.flv
tools used minus razor knife

buffed away all of the sealent

took it down to steel now all around the windsheild
hood and fenders off

core support damage

need a new hatch

baggin and taggin

money found in the car enough for burgerking and a jobmate 100peice tool kit from crappy tire lol canadians know what junk tools i<m talking about haha

isnt all there though cause i toook 10 bucks to buy smokes haha
see hatch is toast

what im aiming for with the chop

since these pics ive pulled the doors ,removed more interior about to pull engine in about 2 hours ,going to brace and get ready to chop it
more to come

there you go again. Looks like you got some work on your hands but after watching the integra build i already know that rust doesn't scare you as much as it does me.

The last picture of the chop top is better imo. I don't know if its the same photo with wheels or not but the roof line looks better in the second picture to me I hope your going that route. Love the idea though...good luck with it I will be looking forward to it being done.

yeah its 2 diff chops ,it will most likely be subtle ,minor chop ,nothing to crazy which i had intended on in the first place haha ,but i still want the car to be driveable ,So most likely little chop and i'll mod the mounts and rails to have the seats sit lower

Looks sick thus far, before you chop the top make sure you consider the headroom you will need with a racing bucket (should you choose to get one). I know with mine it is tight...
All the work looks great, honestly i would have just bought a more rust free shell, but you seem to be a glutton for punishment
