Default Getting off water marks

I have a 98' integra gsr(white) and the last owner must not have dried off his side mirrors to well, because they have water spots left all over them, and they look dirty even after I wash them. I am talking about the actual mirror part itself. Does anyone know what I can try to get them clean again?? btw, I tried windex and it didnt help.

is CLR good for cleaning aluminum alloy wheels? If not, what product would be the best for cleaning alloy wheels?

i wouldn't use clr but try some mothers alloy polish or any type of metallic polish. you can probably find something suitable at any auto store. i don't have aluminum wheels, mine are white.

In case anyone was wondering, A guy from clubsi.com reccommended using a piece of steel wool(I used a brillo pad w/ soap for use in the kitchen). Anyways, it took the marks out like magic with a few scrubs. Next I am going to do the sunroof and window edges. btw, polishing and waxing would not take them out. i would reccommend a brillo pad for anyone else w/ this problem. Thanks for the help guys...
