WTF causes code 8 (tdc sensor)

Default WTF causes code 8 (tdc sensor)

I have a 91 dx hatch and it is throwing a code 8. i replaced dizzy twice, checked wiring and replaced all wires going to connector c cause the connector was bad. after all this, code 8 is still poppin up. What is it? im a noob to honda i have always had chevys but am glad i got this honda except for the problems so far. Please help

I have the same problem on an '88 Si. I have tried 3 different distributors and 3 different ECUs and I still throw a CEL 8--and an intermitent 9. I assume that it must be a bad wire, but I am unsure of which one. I have tried to measure resistance and continuity using the factory service manual, but I am unsure I am understanding the directions correctly.
