need help...wat would you motor wuld you suggest for my ef????
well im getting into this mess and all the jdm but still trying to unstand the motors and everything....got friends that tell me to get a gsr then others a ls/vtec...i would love if sum1 culd help me by tell mehow i should build up a ls motor if i was to get one and i know i need to put vtec on it and stuff but with like everything to make it pretty bad cuz i want it to be pretty kool ya know bt if any sugg. thatll help me even if its a different motor cuz i already know i want to get turbo and yeah.so throw me some ideas please and ill appreciate it big time thanks.....
and why would i want to build up a d series come on man.thats bunk.aint gonna put it on the track but i do want it bad.im guna redo my whole car no joke.its already clean bt i want pure jdm and im planing to put put alot into this.like idk how much i want to put into the motor bt i do want it to be str8 legit and fast....and the main reason i want another motor is i bought my car like 7 months ago from some [pejorative] that sold me it with the motor already bad.so im looking for a new one within 6 months and i just had a friend offer me his ls for 600...bt others told me to go with a gsr...honestly....i just want to be smashing vtec cuz i got a d16a1 and that needs to get out lol so yeah just some input with it would be nice

B series is over rated.
everyone gets a B series than doesnt know what to do and still needs help with the build.
you can get just as much power out of your SOHC if you build it right. turbo your SOHC and save yourself some money.
it'll be a lil bad *** monster.

Yeah, that's hard to disagree with. I don't assume you'll be taking this on the track at all, so just turbo the d-series. The LS is a good way to make a little cheap power. It's not a race motor, and really isn't built for the strain of most vtec heads.
Unless you understand the engineering behind building engines, stick to safe bets. Turbo d-series is relatively safe.

What model of EF is it? This info would help. Knowing what you already have so we could help tell you whats an easy swap. Unless you have the money or friends with knowlege that can help you do it?

I am so much happy with my ls than i was with my d15b/y8 combo. More torque. Its a little more money plus LS's love boost.

Yeah what kind na ef you got? I have an crx with lsv in it, i run 13.8@102 w/65 shot and 14.3@98 all motor @ 2980 elevation (above sea level)

Lsv is the best way, if you know how to build it right.....
