Need help picking small front rims for my civic
So I am thinking of replacing the front rims only witha smaller 14?-16?" rim for better grip and for better handling in the winter and for less chances of hitting potholes and ******* my rims up. Am I stupid? Does this make no sense? What rims? Im thinking 15" black 5 spoke pattern rims... sorta JDMish... I dunno... HELP? Oh also, if you suggest a rim please include the URL where I can buy 'em or check 'em out... word. Thanks.
here is a sample of the style rim i am thinking... http://www.discounttire.com/dtc/find...odeIndex=69142 -- I think those rims probably suck if they are sold at Discount Tire (but correct me If I am wrong)
I am also curious what size tire to go with to roucghly matcht the back hieght of 17" 205/40's?

Something like these... http://www.discounttire.com/dtc/find...odeIndex=75585 --- they are a similiar appearance to the rear rims, that might look good too... what does everyone think?
im gonna have to say thats flat out dumb, in the nicest way possible. please keep all the rims the same size, this is not an nsx we are talking about. also, changing the fronts only to a smaller size with more tire of course will not solve your rim problem, because you can still **** up your plus-sized rims in the back. i have done it...
summed up: please dont.
