2008 civic alloy wheel cracking
My wife bought a 08 civic with the 5 spoke alloy wheels. She hit a pot hole (not too large according to her!) the other day and both wheels on the passenger side shattered. ($255+ each....ouch!)
We have had many hondas over the years (presently have 3) and nothing like this has ever happened before.
I know they don't make them like the used to but potholes are pretty common. I would think that they would stand up to more abuse than that.
Anyone ever hear of this happening before?

Just something to consider.
How's the alignment?

idk if u ever noticed, but the new alloy wheels from honda do have thinner spokes than the previous wheels. and i mean thinner as in thickness from front to back, not the width of the spoke
