accord dies when pressing on the brake.
i have a 92 accord LX and been trying to figure out the problem. i've been searching the site and can't seem to find a solution.
The problem is(which has been occurring in the previous car we pulled out the engine from) when the engine gets warmed up, the car dies when the brakes are applied.
i dont know much about cars(hence my name
) but ill try to get a video up of the problem. im guessing it's something from the engine since it happened in the other car we got it out of as well. we replaced the complete engine manifold, fuel filter, fuel rail and injectors. Timing and everything is set and also did a complete oil change and changed all sparkplugs. ill upload the video as soon as i get time to record it and upload it. thanks

When you step on the brake pedal the brake booster uses a large amount of available intake manifold vacum.
Therefore, the diagnostic strategy is to find the reason the intake manifold is dropping too much vacum.

thanks for the help. i should have explained myself a bit better but it's none of the above. figured out it was something faulty with the wiring harness. had it replaced and now it runs great. thanks though
having the same issue. Can you send a link to the harness you replaced? Id like to replace mine. Thanks!
