For the ones that did read this a couple of weeks ago in the BS Thread, this is a re-post. Just re-posting because: 1) Arrival has been delayed so I'm still waiting and 2) No one actually responded when I posted (and yes, I was at least expecting one "welcome"
)
Hi everyone
It's been a LONG wait:

Bone stock 98 Spec ITR on its way from Japan (I live in the Dominican Republic).
I'll keep it very close to stock for a while, just take good care of her and daily drive it. Will only do mild mods, like a Comptech Icebox which I plan to order very soon (when the car is in my hands and everything is covered) and thinking about keeping the OEM 4-1 + high-flow cat + Fujitsubo cat-back for the exhaust, but that'll be probably around christmas.
Can't imagine the excitement when I finally get to drive it, specially since I come from an EM2, so I'm definetly looking forward for the major upgrade in the performance aspect.
I wish I could track it periodically. We have 2 road courses at the moment, but we don't have Expo-like events like you guys, they only do the official events for the pro seasons. Me and a couple of friends are digging up on how to rent it for track-days.
I don't post much, but I sure spend a lot time researching and reading. Lots of knowledge being shared in this community
I'll take good pictures when I get her and upload them
Cheers.

Thanks guys!
I think Type R owners should be concerned about safety measures wherever they are. I can say, on the other hand, that the US has a special problem, because there's a big movement of thieves looking around for ITRs and Integras specifically because of the "JDM Craze", and that doesn't happen here. The market is just not that hot & huge for this type of vehicles. Generally speaking, theft is more dangerous for Land Cruisers, Montero's, 4Runner's, etc. right now.
Anyways, a few more details about the car: was rated 4/5 for both exterior and interior (which is good, since 4.5 is rarely seen of 8+ years old cars) and engine bay looks pretty good, I'd would only throw in a fresh valve cover because the current ones shows a couple paint loss points and I don't want to custom paint it so I can keep the OEM look.
One thing I liked immediately was that it has the optional Black Recaros instead of Red
That's pretty much all there is to say about it for now since it's not here yet and it's bone stock, lol

I know...black SRD's are pretty sweet
Not that I plan to sell them, but are they really worth $1600 if they're mint or is that Password boosting the price up a bit because of the rare factor?

Nice! I love Cabarete, it's like 4 hours away from me, which is pretty much the most you'll spend on the road to get to ANY of the nicest beaches here (a good thing about living in a small island).
You should come to Punta Cana to one of the many good all-included resorts there. You won't be able to surf, but you'll spend a nice time
