what kinda of pulley and short shifter should i get
alright first i want my pulleys done i see the AEM ones they look good for the price. is there anything i should know before doing the pulleys and draw backs and what kind of gains can i see.
now the short shifter i saw some no name short shifters on ebay are these good there like 20 bucks price sounds good because the dc sports one is like 60 ? and how easy is a short shifter to install. again any draw backs ? and what kinda gains ?

I got my AEM pullies because they were on sale and I didn't really notice any gains. They looked really hard to install because the easiest way to get to the alternator pulley is to go from underneath.
Short shifter was easy to put in along with some ES bushings. It took about an hour. I got a C's and I have also heard good things about the Skunk 2. I've heard some people say that a short shifter is bad for your synchros. The shortened throw is what it's all about though.

pulleys:
the only real gain i see you might be able to get is changing the crank pulley
to a lighter one..... less rotating mass ... you might actually be able to ride
with the AC on and achieve minumal loss (: its freakin hot in florida
Short Shifter:
wish i could add some real tech advice ... only thing i can say is i bought a
DC short shifter for my bud'z birthday .... the shifter looked WAY high
quality.... and he loves the short throwzz .. i dont think it was too tough
for him to install either ...
good luck man

don't waste your money on pulleys
A generic shifter is fine as long as you have a shift **** that attaches below the threads w/ set screws. If you use the stock **** or any other screw-on ****, there is a chance that the cheaper aluminum shifters will break at the threads (damn tiny 8mm thread on Honda shifters, my old car had 12mm thread
). I have a generic shifter w/ Razo shift **** and I love the way it feels, flick of the wrist shifting.
