92 Accord Headlight Mods
Does anyone know if it is possible to remove the lens from the head light assembly? I purchased lights all around, all black, ie, corner, bumper, and tails, but the head lights are freaking expensive. So I thought if there is a way to remove the lense I could black out he part needed to convert it to a black head light assembly. Thanks.
oh really???? what kind of paint did u use drift master? because i have smoked tail lights but headlights are a little out of my budget right now... and does it work well if u have blue lights, u know the knock off hid xenons off of ebay?
and to take out the whole assembly, i've heard theres bolts behind the bumper u will have to remove but im not sure about a 92....

I used regular flat black hobby paint. I masked off a circle around lights for them to reflect off of though.
Any heat resistant plastic paint will be best.
(Heat resistant for the obvious reasons, and plastic cause it'll stick better on the casing.)
.....Aaaand Yes, you have to take the entire headlight assembly out to open it. I'll post pics in a couple days.

Thanks guys!
I figured there was a way, but wanted the input first just to make sure. I would assume that the high temp barbacue paint would work. I have a few differnt kinds of high temp paint, but mostof them are for engines and the like.
I did notice that the ones on ebay, have that halo around the light that isnt painted, so I'll go the way of the driftmaster!
As well as get some of the Xenon lights, hell, for 6 - 8 bucks you cant beat that.
