I live in Northern Cali.

When haggling with the dealer, what's a respectable price to ask for? MSRP for a 2007 is $9,499, give or take.

I've never purchased a vehicle/bike from a dealership. I've had my Kawi Ninja 250 for a little over a year and i bought that used.

Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

My buddy picked up a brand new 07 CBR RR last year...and managed to talk the dealer down to $9k. Yes, $9k.

He flashed the cash and drove off with the bike.

Depending on your state's tax, most dealers tax on assemble, freight shipping and handling, and title application.

MSRP is about $9,500 or so...so I'd say you should get out the door a bit under $10k.

Hustle those fools!

 

i got a quote for 9k out the door cash with otdcycles.com and berts mega mall back in september 2007. Im sure you can do that now that its 2008

Maybe even lower...since it's almost 2009.

 

where are you picking it up at? roseville cycle? or carmichael honda? personally i'd wait til winter time usually you can get it for mid 7k.

Ive seen some advertised as low as 8299 msrp so with tax it runs a little under 9000. See if they can drop freight charges and anything else thats not tax.

Otherwise penninsula Honda Ducati on El camino somewhere in sunnyvale or mountainview sells them for 8899. Maybe thats a start

 

i got my 07 this past may for 8800. it was their last 07...i guess they just wanted to get rid of it

 

Got my bike last July for low 9k. Im sure you should be able to talk them down a bit .

got mine for 10500 otd then they were on sell the next week for 9500 otd...last white one tho.....you should pay around 9000ish! good luck....stick to your price and let them come to it!

 

Look around, you can find good deals - they are out there. I bought my 07 zx10r OTD for $6999 brand new zero miles full warranty everything- that is no typo.
