Regardless of what website it's on...they tested just about every other intake on the market and showed the results...In the end the difference between them all isn't going to be mind blowing and it will be up to which one you trust the most...I personally will vouch for the AEM products...Specifically the V2...Just happens to be my favorite.

this was back in 03 when some companies didnt even have their designs out.. the aem has since been outperformed by the injen cold air intake (CAI) btw the v2 sucks.. the fujita cai also is better then the aem.. thats it class go to lunch and read chapters 2-4 for tomorrow.

regardless of what intake you go with its not gonna make that much of a difference. but i agree with you as in it is the brand that people choose, not saying aem is the best performing one but people do choose products based on brand status

I had an Injen SRI and an AEM CAI on my '05 Type S. The only thing I noticed that was different was sound and that my SRI heatsoaked easily when sitting in traffic. WOT I'm not sure I noticed a difference is there was one. Butt dyno is hard to notice 2hp.

i believe church has done some test.. im not going to search the corners of the internet to back my claims on hondatech,i will say the aem wasnt even using a velocity stack design in their filter as was injen and fujita.. i sugest those two products to my customers and time and time again thats what i install.

No but the variance of gain between intakes is pretty much equivalent to the variance of cost with some extremes (cheap ebay intakes and high dollar airboxes).

Got mine off ebay. I think it was 40 or 60 shipped. Intake is intake. If you want a different filter just slap whatever brand filter you like on it.

K&N filter = $45. So you spend ~$100 on a cheap ebay intake with a good filter. For a few $$ more, you could have bought a real intake that was actually engineered for the car.

any open box filter is better than stock. I just can't convince myself to pay 200 to 300 on an intake. All that can go towards something more important. Like boost for instance. Like I say this is my opinion. I've been messing with cars for over 10 plus years. I've gone through 300 to 500 hp cars. I guess it comes down to what you want. Just my opinion not trying to affend anyone. Don't take this comment in a negative way.

Injen SRI = $210 on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVW
AEM CAI = $165 on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWD1V
AEM V2 = $304 on clubrsx http://www.clubrsx.com/cr/AEM-....html
AEM SRI = $191 on clubrsx http://www.clubrsx.com/cr/AEM-....html

A few more bucks? Maybe used...
