Good video. I really like what BOTI is doing with the Import Drag Scene. I remember years ago when I'd go to IDRC/NIRA events at the Grove and the stands were packed beyond belief. I hope the scene gets big like that again.

I liked how Ron put it...... felt like being at the street races all over again against the V8's.

I got to run against a Red Chevy SSR with a Supercharger during my qualifying runs in SS class in Vegas. One of the tech guys accidentally put him in SS class when he really came just for fun runs. I did not mind one bit since he was really amazed with my all motor 4 banger beating him

I have to say Ron & Ed are what this sport is all about, Yeah weve been aorund for a long time as well, But how many pro racers have a open pit area where you can just walk up and say hello? Not many, how many of them will stop rebuilding a motor between rounds to talk to the common sportsman racer or fan?? they do! These guys are TOP NOTCH in my book and are a asset to our community, Now with that said if they would just let me drive the CRX... I could die happy!!!!LOL

We are just like everyone else, just a bunch of guys who love Sport Compact Drag. Yeah we have been in it a long time but we ALL share the same love of Sport Compact Drag. That's all that matters, regardless of time we have been in it. Everyone is welcome to come in because ALL of us involved are a brotherhood of Sport Compact Drag Racers. I dunno though about giving you the CRX? I gotta make time to restore that thing. Nevertheless, anyone involved in Sport Compact Drag I love you all and keep draggin Sport Compacts!

I dunno TOny......................you are the MAN! Who ignores excruciating pain in the right side of their stomach to go racing. Appendicitis is not a joke. You can feel it.................but you managed to go racing all the way till the sucker exploded. You the man. HEheeheheheheheh. Glad you are recovering to race another day. Next time, get that stuff checked out. Who am I to say anything though, I'll keep racing regardless of any physical ailments. Hehehehehehehe.
