NEED SOME HELP about 94 accord lx h22a auto that is now stick but manual ecu's don't work
i had an lx accord auto so i swapped the h22a auto and added all the extra wires (vtec, iab, knock) all that was needed to run the h22a just right without any check engine at all. after like 8 months i switch over to the m2b4 LSD trans all went well but i am still running the auto p13. i just want to know if i will have some trouble running a manual ecu cause i want to buy my hondata s300 and install it on a manual p72 ecu. last time i tried to run a manual ecu i couldn't rev past 4k. is there anything i need to do to my auto harness so i can run manual ecu's.........help
I believe running an opposite gearing ECU causes just that, ab-normal and irregular RPM issues. I've had a buddy who was forced to do this with this GSR swap and it did exactly that. As far as I know, it doesn'thurt the car, it just makes it react and run poorly
I swapped my 94 Accord F22b1 from auto to manual. I swapped the Auto POA with the 5spd POA and it worked perfectly. Swap the ECu to 5spd and try it before the S300 mod and let me know. BTW the car will run perfectly with the TCU installed and a 5spd ECU
