i have a type-r bottom with b16 head.
i am only plaining on maken low to mid 300 hp on my setup
but i was wonderin what would be the best intake manifold out

i was told vic-x is for more hp motors

what do you guys think would be the best to run..

I use the ITR intake mani i got it for 180 dollars and bolted right up to my b16a i'm making 454whp and it seems to work fine.

 

the vic x isjust high hp engine, its where you want to make the power.

made 330 on a stock b16 intake and throttle body.

 

what do u guys think about the proformer x intake mani???

 

if 300 is your goal, then there are better places to spend the loot unless you are getting the intake for free, thats my o.o2

 

my goal is only mid 300 so when i go to the dyno and it comes out to be more i'll go home happy

use a aebs (proffesional products) or the skunk2 intake.

like stated before the edelbrock is for high rpm/high hp motors.
theres a thread in the archives where xenocron dyno'd the skunk2 vs the edelbrock and he made more power with the skunk2 on that particular setup which was a lower boost/lower rpms.
