MY buddy's radio quit working in his car the controls for it still light up but it wont come on. But i hooked it up in my car and it came on and played i have no idea whats wrong the fuses are fine any ideas??

 

Bad wires to the speakers. Or maybe it's the ground? How many speakers stopped working at the same time?

If it were me, I'd first check the ground, then check for continuity between the wiring harness and the speakers.

 

Sounds like a blown fuse. There's a fuse for the radio under the hood, so make sure you check that one too.

 

No, that sounds like the Backup Radio/Antenna fuse in the under dash.

 

yea its my accord, but basically the display for the radio wont turn on but lights work fine. never had any problems with the speakers in front or in back especially since i got new ones in the back.

 

If you need a replacement radio, I have mines I took out 2 days ago. I bought an aftermarket. PM me if anything, Still works and everything just don't have the CODE.

 

I can get the code for you so it won't be a problem.
