What off set to for a EK??

What wheel offset for a EK??
I'm buying wheels for my 2000 ek, i have a 1.33" drop and I plan to go lower in the future. I have to pick between 40 and 45. I want to get as close to the body (or tucking) with out rubbing. thank you for your help.
