okay i remember when i bought my hatch about a year ago the owner said it had no name coil overs. so i was like np i wanted to replace them anyway. well i had it on the lift today servicing my wheel bearing and decided to do an inspection underneath. well i glanced at the shocks and noticed they said KYB and i was like wtf these are decent shocks from what i hear. so here is my question. is it possible to use Skunk2 or other quality springs on these KYB's and ditch there coilovers. i hate the ride its way to stiff and little to no travle.

 

yes as long as the spring holder things didnt get cut off by the last owner.
