what to do with a dinged up door?
i have a 93 hatch. the drivers door is really beat up but the rest of the body is really good for her age. the question is if i bought a replacement door panel would it be possible for a paint shop to match a color that is 15 years old. also would it make more sense to search in junk yards to find a stock door with same color...that seems almost impossible. im not sure what to do. all i know that these dents could not just be pounded out. any advice would be much appreciated.

yes they can match the paint. might have to buff some other parts of the car tho.
same color would be great if you can find it. do a nation wide search for the part at all salvage yards at http://www.car-part.com

I'm going to check out dent removal too, but if your door is too bad and has waves etc in it, it is most likely that thing will have to be taken down to the metal, tapped out and filled then re-sprayed. They can do a good job fading and etc to match your other panels.
